[QUOTE="Washu234, post: 593312, member: 10258"] Alright I don't normally comment on such things, but god MrFedEx you got a lot of hate in you. What district are you in? I'm in the Bostonian District out of BVY as a part timer and while some days are bad I really enjoy my little 5-hour 60 stop shift. I've asked around and can't find anyone out of my station who has as much disdain for the company as you do. We all wish we got paid more but when my volume dropped from 400 pieces a day to about 100 I didn't lose my job like my brothers in Brown. The poor saps who are left at Brown have 150+ stops a day and always complaining about the uselessness of Teamsters in a recession. I'm not exactly a Fred S fan, but I don't believe he ****s on us as much as you think he does. Perhaps you're a victim of bad management; have you ever been to a different station? I've made many mistakes, some small but mostly big (I've had my share of flipouts on cursing customers) and haven't gotten fired yet or or even threatened - just calmly dealt with (and a Electronic Counseling Session once). Now to stay on topic, I will say that I feel like our company is going the way of a big small company. There is so much lack of internal communication that it kills me somedays. Everything seems so one-way, sometimes I wonder if our CSA's even work for the same company when they tell my customers bad information. I see my managers as frustrated as I am with broken powerpads and pointless policy changes. And Brownbailout.com is a joke of a website which I'm embarrassed by. Perhaps I'm lucky. I've heard horror stories about ****head managers but I honestly believe this company is superior to UPS largely because of the lack of union. Bad workers are easily dealt with. If you work for FedEx you gotta be a good guy who's customers love you otherwise you wouldn't stick around, cause as we all know (brown and purple) the bad days are awful without your customers.
