FedEx IS Enron

I'm not the first to say it, but read the story of Enron, see how upper management pretends that every idea they have is "genius", (while simultaneously discounting and insulting the "little people" who actually do the work), and then pretend that nothing is wrong. The parallels are eerie...and compelling. The Memphoids are living in a delusional bubble, and by telling each other how smart they are, the walls of the bubble grow thicker every day. When it pops, watch the chaos and Blame Game ensue. Wall Street will definitely be paying attention. "In an insane world the sane man must surely be considered insane". (Mr. Spock). Truer words have never been spoken.

Well that's just silly. The planes fly out and back, freight gets delivered and picked up, billing goes out and payment is received. Where's the "house of cards?" They have screwed us, pure and simple. But let's stick to facts.

They have screwed us all right, but the fact is that Express is a joke run by delusional management. Without the RLA and the Ground scam, FedEx would cease to exist.

If FedEx would cease to exist, then for the sake of keeping our jobs it would be a good thing that they do exist, right?

Assuming this job is worth keeping. For more and more hourlies this is not the case.

True, but in many places there aren't viable alternatives. My point is, and again I'm not defending FedEx, if FedEx couldn't exist without the RLA and Ground then why are we railing against the RLA and Ground? It's not that FedEx is an Enron, a sham corporation, it's that they decided to take the company in a different direction for profit's sake and are hurting alot of hard working, loyal employees in the process. And have been very dishonest with their employees in doing so. We deserve better, and no amount of money in their bank accounts will buy them the class they obviously lack. But what do they care? They'll have their money and when the dust settles everything will sort itself out so they'll B.S. their way through the rest.

FedEx is a lot like Enron in that upper management thinks they are both golden and infallible.

It's not that they couldn't exist, just not as they are today. FedEx is the perfect example of a corrupt corporation with nothing to check that power, financially and politically.

Fedex is only Enron if they go belly up and find massive corruption that lead to it.

There's the cookin' of the ol' books going on here too. Just like at good ol' Enron.

Just like everywhere. Face it the businesses becomes bigger than a person. If it is going down, human nature will do all kinds of illegal things to save it. Accounting laws be damned, WE HAVE TO SAVE THE COMPANY!

FedEx won't go under as long as the Ground scam is there to pump-up profits. Express is likely to "fail" (become a major money loser) with the current management team and policies in place. They operate very much in the manner of Enron.

Express is stealing billions from states?

Hell has plenty of room. The uppers floors (view of Lake of Fire) are reserved for the worst of the worst. Fred has a reservation.
Dante's Inferno suggests differently. The "worst of the worst" are the traitors and they are relegated to the lowest regions. Judas Iscariot and Brutus' souls are said to be frozen in terror and savaged by Satan. A hellish Trinity to oppose the heavenly one. Incidentally, MFE, the case could be made that as long as you accept money from Fred and do business with him by day and toil against him at night, that you could be putting your soul in peril with your traitorous acts.:happy-very:
