FedEx may get labor law lobbying help from Boeing - APP
FedEx Corp. might get lobbying help from Boeing Co. after saying it may drop options to buy aircraft should Congress make it easier for the delivery company’s employees to join a union, a Jesup & Lamont analyst said.
FedEx said last week that it may not buy 30 more Boeing 777 freighters, valued at $7.7 billion based on list prices, if the U.S. House passes proposed legislation that places the Memphis, Tenn.-based company under the National Labor Relations Act.
