UPS to resume operations in Philadelphia after re-routing planes to Louisville for Sandy
UPS expects to resume some operations at its regional hub in Philadelphia Tuesday night after re-routing planes to Louisville because of Hurricane Sandy, spokesman Mike Mangeot said.
In addition, about 20 UPS gateways — smaller hubs — will reopen Tuesday evening at airports across the East Coast, from Richmond, Va., to Buffalo, N.Y., he said.
The only airports where UPS gateways will remain closed are Newark and JFK near New York City, Mangeot said.
