On Meet The Press (11/24/19) Chuck "Sleepy Eyes" Todd brought out the fact that Fusion GPS (Peter Fritsch & Glenn Simpson)* is still investigating Trump along the lines of the Steele Dossier. They objected to "investigating Donald Trump" but rather positioned Fusion GPS as "investigating Russia's efforts to affect and disrupt Western Democracies."
This investigation is being funded by The Democracy Integrity Project (TDIP), which is a multimillion-dollar stealth organization launched in late January 2017, just days after President Donald Trump's inauguration, that provides daily "research" briefings five days a week, to recognizable Washington journalists, and congressional staff members, to keep the Russia "collusion" narrative alive spreading lies and fake news to keep the "Trump-Russian collusion" false news narrative alive in main stream media reporting.
TDIP is funded by George Soros, Rob Reiner, Tom Steyer, with further donations from social media outlets. Reportedly, "Social media titans including the founders of Facebook, Twitter and Google are indirectly funding the project through donations funneled through a Silicon Valley foundation." The nonprofit, 501(c) social welfare organization, Fund for a Better Future (FBF), donated $2,065,000 to TDIP in 2017.
Dark money consists of the hundreds of millions of dollars that flows secretly, from undisclosed sources, into organizations in order to influence policy and elections. Some of the biggest advocates and donors of dark money are the Koch brothers and George Soros.
The U.S. Supreme Court decision in Citizens United increased the influence of dark money.
