Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 2935821" data-attributes="member: 24302"><p>Actually since arriving in Guadalajara I eat mostly home cooked meals.  Eating out is problematic as I tend to get a very torn up stomach from the local bacteria.  Was really bad a week ago.  Spent two days in bed except to run to the restroom every hour or so.  My very nice landlady made me herbal teas and her son the doctor wrote me prescriptions that she went to farmacia to fill.  I've read that over time one acclimates to the local bugs but it's different for different people.  Was really bad in the Yucatan for me.  Ironic that I spent years planning a move here only to be done in by microbes.  Leaving August 1st.</p></blockquote><p></p>
