Biden Administration Department Of Labor has submitted a new proposal allowing courts greater freedom to reclassify gig workers as traditional employees rather than independent contractors . The current rules that the Trump Administration put in pace made it much easier for judges to classify gig workers as "independent contractors". Nothing any of us can do but watch to see where the wheel stops spinning.
