Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 4494423" data-attributes="member: 24302"><p>If you're talking specific products deemed hazardous the government has always been there to protect the public, albeit grudgingly at times.  Not the same as complete centralized control of the economy where nothing is produced without permission or regulation.  That also applies to service jobs.  Years ago France enacted a 35 hour labor rule with the idea it would create more jobs if everyone was limited to 35 hours.  They've gone into office buildings and arrested businessmen doing paperwork past their daily allotment of hours.  Do you want that kind of government regulation?</p></blockquote><p></p>
