A lot of the shootings in Atlanta are at recording studios and nightclubs. Places to avoid in my opinion if you want a long life. Shootings are actually higher in Atlanta than Chicago from a population percentage. The mayor decided not to run again for some reason.

I like the these black professors discuss this ignorant scum bags like tay k, very gentle and insightful tone, etc. Yet don’t let a white man be caught discussing crime rates in the inner cities and “rap culture”.

No BLM outrage? Democrat politicians strangely silent?

If we all didn't know better, we might think they don't really care except when a murder can be useful to get votes, manipulate people, or to get money.

part of it is american capitalism:

gangster rap was very profitable so they pursued it.

you also notice around 2000 most of the music had swear words in it or was shocking and then not so much many years later.

this is commercialism. this is capitalism. its true black on black crime is a problem.

Problem? Must not be. Politicians in charge in places like Chicago or Detroit ignore it, as does BLM.

This has to do with their roots. It goes back hundreds of years.

yea we couldve had more rappers like tribe called quest, public enemy, de la soul, jungle brothers but US culture wasnt strong enough to prevent us from being infected with capitalist commercialism of gangster rap
