The wind was gusting from the side at about 17 mph.  He came in second, 598 out of a possible 600, to his wife's  599. She was also shooting a custom rifle he built for her.  There were 12 shooters in his division. Afterwards he let me pop off a few rounds---glad I wasn't in the competition. The rifles were built to there body styles so I felt comfortable shooting what I did (even got  a few 10's) bulls eyes. I'm not sure what their guns are worth but he told me the scope itself cost $2,300. Those competition shooters are in a class of their own.</p></blockquote><p></p>
