And calling the "police" did no good; at one point they were in hot pursuit annd right behind him but were forced to retreat because he had a gun and the cops had nothing but sticks and some pepper spray. It took several hours for any sort of armed response to arrive and by then it was too late. I would feel better about strict gun laws if the politicians who enacted them were willing to lead by example and only have unarmed bodyguards themselves. Its easy to preach to others about the evils of guns when you yourself are being protected by men who have them.</blockquote>
