True enough they could have pushed through more stringent gun laws the first two years but they were too busy working on pushing 0bamacare  for one reason and the fact that many of the dems looking to re-election in two years were shying away from gun legislation talk, in fact some of those had to be drug, kicking and moaning to vote yea on the health care bill. There were several bills introduce in 08 and 09 that never got support for that reason.</p></blockquote><p></p>
