TOS You dont like guns, and that isnt going to change. Thats OK, everybody has a right to their own opinions. Are you content to just dislike them, or do you think they should be banned? What is your opinion of the true meaning of the 2nd amendment? Due to my own personal experiences, I have many of the same feelings about alcohol that you have about guns. And far more people die from alcohol-related causes than die from guns. I could spend the entire day qouting horrible news stories about death and dismemberment and abuse and cruelty that directly result from the abuse of alcohol, and use those stories to justify banning alcohol entirely. But...I dont. As harmful as alcohol is, I believe that adults should be free to choose for themselves whether or not to use it. The fact that I have a problem with alcohol doesnt mean that everybody else does. My personal experiences with and opinions about alcohol do not give me the right to deny others the right to make decisions for themseves about whether or not to drink. In other words...I am tolerant of the rights of others even when I disagree with them. Are you tolerant? Or do you think that only you should decide who should and should not own guns?
