Well MRFEDEX, I have had the opportunity to work at ground and now freight, Freight Handles much larger shipments of HAZMAT, and I am quite sure on both sides of each fence the opportunity for smarter individuals exists, however with that being said many that I have worked with are smart enough to not blow themselves up while delivering any hazardous material stops or shipments. Also with that being said I have seen more hazmat incidents at freight then at ground from a handling standpoint. And last thing I will say the 2 ground buildings that I worked at both grew enough to start sister buildings and both will probably split again with one in the middle. I can guarantee that not only can I find a contractor who would work you ass silly but some lowly drivers as well. You spew regret in most of your posts, I feel sad that you hate what your job has become to you, however you could have made better decisions in your life to not allow this to happen or to at least allow your self an out. I myself know my own grave, but have saved face when needed and not gone on and on and on and on some board. I said "I quit twice" at ground, the last time with a few kiss my @ss's and friend off's. but alas I am back with FedEx so what does that say about My skills as a leader and manager I don't know but I was not do not rehire! I also am developing myself in a similar but completely different environment from small package to ltl, so if I have to use those words again I now am a better developed as Leader and Manager in the transportation world. Do us all a favor and cry yourself a river, Because some of what you're so upset about was in your control the whole time.
