That sucks! Our HR dept is about the only form of management I halfway trust with sensitive information and they haven't let me down. It sounds like you get the nice opportunity to NAIL UPS to the wall on this one. What'd your BA say about back pay? Go for it or no? I'd love to see you get it all and wave it under their noses :D :devil3: I do have a story of a driver sticking it to UPS that might put a grin on your face. The driver got into an accident during winter conditions (in Calgary they don't plow the roads so it's VERY dangerous driving which is why we're #1 in hitting inanimate objects...plus narrow side streets). The guy took off someone's mirror. Unfortunately for him, the president of UPS Canada was visiting the building and termed the guy on the spot to make an example out of him. Our center manager was cool about it and told the guy to grieve it (which he did). I just found out that the guy got 3 months back pay was reinstated then gave his two weeks and told UPS to stick it . He had been a driver for 5 years here (which is a LOOOOONG time in Calgary since most drivers have 1 year or less experience). So, UPS lost a darn good driver AND it cost them around 12k...Likely over that with all the paperwork shuffling. I hope you get a chance to stick it too them too :D
