Oh, wk. Nothing could be truer. I (and we) will accept human suffering because I (and we) have got it good in my (and our) world. Anybody living and benefitting from living in the United States could hardly say differently. Here's the problem. The way I wish things were, that won't happen. I believe that if we are going to war, it should be to lay complete waste and desolation to the opposing society. Carpet bombing, fire bombing of entire cities perfectly fine. We've gotten far to clean and precise about war and it's to easy to get into. So what's better? Invasions or drones? Since we are going to insist on avoiding war as conquest, which is the better way? So it is with many issues. I prefer Obamacare to what we had before but I think single payer the best solution. I prefer robust social programs to relying on private charities. I view the education of my children to be primarily the responsibility of my wife and myself, not the school and any warts it might have. I prefer adopting a healthier lifestyle to going to the doctor multiple times a year. So, yes, absolutely. Sometimes it's a choice between the lesser of two evils. That's the world we live in and everyone has their preferences. That you may like that you too make such choices is your priviledge.
