I once shattered two in one day. Called them in separately as, broke them while adjusting. It was a cold day and I said the low temperatures were the cause. It wasn't questioned but I was a little nervous.

If you are adjusting them using a handy tree branch, its a good idea to remove any bark or leaves before you return to the building. Not that I have done that myself or anything like that.

Lol, I get a good laugh at those! " pass mirror broken" get out there and the driver has achieved veteran not giving a status and does not even try to remove the branch from the mirror arm...
