Considering you elected the son of one of the greatest organized crime moguls in the history of the United States, whom was part of the organization when his father was in control, and who replaced an organized crime member himself. May lead some people to think that the Teamsters still have the roots of organized crime tied throughout. I am far from saying the average Union member is involved in any way. I do challenge you all to read up about on your history. Buy a book, go to the library, Wikipedia isn't the end all, be all to information in the world. Some argue the late Hoffa had no ties to organized crime, some say he was their patsy (the Kennedy's), and some believe he ran organized crime. Just hard to overlook building casinos, or paying people off with your hard earned retirement dollars, and to say that connection just disappears when its strongest leader son is in charge, is almost as laughable as all your standard responses. I guess that is why I said I would tread lightly. I more than respect the average Union person. I think they represent the heart of America. Most Union people are hard working, family people, who make the United States operate on a day to day basis. I just laid the question out there to see if anyone had ever really thought about it before. It wasn't intended to be a shot or poking at what you represent at all.
