I am asking anyone who frequents this sight and who drives a truck to aid a brother driver. We all drive a truck and do the same job no matter what division or company writes our check every week.

Those of you who know me or has checked to see if I was legit I really could use your help.

Ask your company if they can help this driver. While I'm sure it's a worthy cause, Fred has much deeper pockets than any of us, and I'm sure he'd be "happy" to help..not. If this is health-related, Fred has been a huge contributor to this individual's financial burden. I really have no idea what this is about, so maybe you can PM me. Obviously, it's in violation of the TOS to solicit, but I'm curious as to the cause for the request.

I'm not sure. Maybe you can paraphrase it. I think you can discuss it all you want, you just can't make it a solicitation. I used to post at another FedEx discussion board until I found out it was run by an attorney who was using it to find potential clients. That attorney has since become a judge, and he had to divest himself from the site. For me, it made the whole board a sham.

I was not asking anyone on here for anything but a "like" to my subgroup on FB. I have decided to go "all in" and run for Sheriff in this county. I was simply asking for likes on the group I created.

What is REALLY ironic is Tennessee passed a law 2 years ago (not challenged yet) that one of the qualifications for the position is having 3 years full time in the last 10 years.

I just about had my own version of the RWLA shoved up my purple buttocks by my Republican "friends". lol...

Long story short, I go to Nashville next Thursday in front of the P.O.S.T. commission, Peace Officer Standards and Training. It seems there are 3 candidates statewide who have questioned the constitutionality of the new law...lobbied for by the Tennessee Sheriff's Association.

I am sure they will look at our education, experience and our qualifications. I feel confident they will make the right decision in each case.

I am not soliciting any money for my campaign. I have put some of my gun collection on the auction boards and started bidding at $1.00 no reserve.

I will be able to raise 50k of my OWN money ... all I am asking the voters for is a vote and a few phone calls.

Out of the 3 in the primary and 2 in the general I am the ONLY one who is not a career government employee....time will tell, it always does.

I know some of you checked me out... (I do have a smoker grill as well as gas)..lol

Full time, good pay and the opportunity to make a difference in my home community. There is NO place like home.

Now I see why all those Security Specialist positions never worked out.

Funny how the Good Lord works, and life turns out.

My Mama is 90, widowed and her son doesn't need to move anywhere right now.

I'm all good either way.

If we win it will change Greg's and my life forever. We went to ETSU at the same time, became best friends. He stayed in LE full time. He worked for FedEx 2 years between departments. He is now a Lt in a city department. He would make an OUTSTANDING chief deputy.

If we lose. I sold some guns, spent a little money but I will have no regrets. I did my very best.

I still love my job most days, it could be a tad better.

I even got stuck in the snow today. A brother courier delivered me a shovel and we got her out.

Teamwork.... and the wind was blowing like a bitch.
