Name: Kevin Start Date: August 2012 Sex: M Age: 23 From Southern Maryland, working out of the center in Waldorf, MD Married?: noooope, single, no kids, no attachments UPS position: Package Handler, Preload (mainly loading and splitting my belt, sometimes in the sort aisle) Hobbies: .... I'll have to come back to this one.... BC member for a month at the absolute most, just started posting now I came to browncafe before I even applied with UPS, to be honest. This is definitely the single most helpful resource regarding my employment with UPS that I've stumbled upon to date. My supervisors aren't able to tell me half the stuff you guys know, and my center manager's (the guy who runs everything, I'm not sure of his actual title...) responses are so jumbled, unintelligible and speedy that I just nod my head and pretend like I know what he's talking about before asking the closest supe to translate. If it weren't for what I learned on this forum prior to clocking in for the first time I don't think I'd even be able to keep count of all the times I would have and nearly was taken advantage of on the job. Thanks, browncafe, all's youse guise.
