Dian one thing you will get when you come here is some honest feedback. Keep in mind that as we read your post that we see this type of scenario quite a bit over the years. Someone hired temporarily that quickly has a workmans comp case trying to get us to pay for some past injury. Not accusing you just telling you what we have seen in the past. The fact that you have waited six months to file a claim and the fact you are a little bit older and should understand the workmans comp process which is basically the same wherever you work adds to the suspicion. I'm no doctor and I'm no insurance claims expert. With that in mind from what I have seen you have an athletics related condition and you have led an athelitic life. As such you're condition will probably be deemed normal wear and tear or a pre-existing condition and not be covered. Especially since the condition is related to the lifestyle you have led. Getting an attorney may just end up costing you more but thats your call.
