Is it worth becoming FT combination driver ?

I understand that but they aren’t going to hire one off the street.

We hire FT and PT off the street every week. Several are going through their 30 day driver qualification period right now. At the same time we have drivers laid off.

As I recall they were not going to get their on road rate while working on the inside and vice versa.

I’m not 100% sure but I think that is wrong. Same rate for entire day.

When you include the weekly show up bonus, new hires were making over $20/hr. Not sure if the show up bonus is still in effect.

First you have to go to UPS school and learn their rules. And after that God knows how long

Could be right after you finish Integrad. Could be several months after. It just depends on their needs. Centers that are a bit over-ambitious with hiring people will have a longer wait than centers who were desperate for anyone with a DOT card to begin with.

All the supervisors are under quarantine they're not going on the road with anybody
