We have a local story here from a crime that took place around 2006. 3 young guys 17 or so, were drunk at a party, raped an unconscious girl with a pool cue, a lit cigarette, a bottle.......laughed and filmed it all. They were found guilty and served their time.....about 5 or 6 years.
One of them was a sheriff's son. One of them who is now 25 and must register as a sex offender the rest of his life. He expressed in this story that he thought that was unfair. I wanted to puke !!
Thank goodness, he and his cohorts lost their appeal case and all have to register as sex offenders. It's called consequences of your actions.
