I've been a FT swing driver for 5 months now. I work in a bonus center. At first I always went for bonus but I noticed almost every time I was tearing it up, gonna get done early like 3-4pm, that I would get a call from dispatch or a msg on diad to go do out of area pickups for other drivers pretty much killing all my bonus time. So now I just aim to run scratch everyday and I have not had to do any extra added BS. They have stat print outs every morning we can check and noticed that another new swing driver will run 1.5-2 hours bonus. This guy has literally told me he will buckle the seat belt behind him and not wear it. I checked his telematics stats and he'll have a absurd amount of bulk head door events, record in travel, high backs. I know he misdelivers a bunch of :censored: too because I've had to clean up after him on some routes. Another new driver fresh outta Integrad last christmas was running 2-3 hours bonus doing all res stops no air no pickups and had a tier 3 after a month. I want to get my job done and go home ASAP everyday but I don't think it's worth the risk taking shortcuts that can lead to termination.
