Leadership Preference and Upbringing

When I was growing up, my father always taught me a true leader takes responsibility.

When the pandemic started to break in 03-20, president Trump had an opportunity to seize the moment, much like Winston Churchill.

Unfortunately, he chose to blame the prior administration for the pandemic fallout. Objectively speaking, the results have not been favorable.

I’ve always kind of wondered if those on the BC that support such limp leadership grew up with a soft father figure (I.e. on disability or straight up non-existent).

I suspect so, but please prove me wrong if you can.

I can.
He followed what the "experts" told him at the time.
He followed their guidance and surpassed it by ordering travel restrictions, the crucifixion commenced.

You hit, you run.
Hang around to support your mindless Trump attacks.

The same ones that told him it wouldn't be a problem

Wonder which expert told him this

lmao at the folks still defending this idiot
It will, it has as a deadly virus. Exactly who is at risk for death? Which group of people?
The precautions should begin and end there now.
Should have begun when the numbers clearly defined those at risk and those in terminal danger.
I understand the game.

This isn't complicated.

China lied to the entire international community about their outbreak. Blaming this on President Trump is nothing less than defending a brutal communist authoritarian dictatorship responsible for genocide.

Shameful anti American scum.

over the preponderance day of months
Exactly what do you think you are saying? Exactly what did you want to say?
Do you know what a preponderance is, or are you just attempting to sound educated?

His administration presided over the preponderance day of months in the greatest period of economic expansion in the history of the country.
In plain English, exactly what are you trying to convey?

I'll stipulate I'm an idiot and my intellect isn't what it once was, neither of those are the reason I don't have a clue what you think you are trying to get across.

If I had to guess it’s because union work attracts people without much drive to compete in a meritocracy. Everyone is the same in a union, only difference between workers is how long they’ve been around. FedEx requires a more scrappy attitude.

Yep, fed ex workers are so much more meritorious and obviously the intellectual superiors to their counterparts at UPS that they will do the same job for way less compensation. Great point. I would have never thought about it that way. :groooansmileyf:

Even with all that cheap labor, FedEx still can't figure out how to outperform UPS in profits.

Fedex Scrappy attitude: (Too scared to vote in a Union because of Fred and their bosses)..

"What we got here is a failure to communicate"..."Yes sire boss"

You should of been there at the "97" picket lines if you really want to know what "Scrappy Attitude" really looks like..

I saw the pilots and several other employees of other companies walking with us but I never saw a single Fedex employee among them...understandable considering they would be singled out by Fred and fired at will...I imagine that Meat was too busy freaking out about the increased volume and just did not have the time or he did not have the "Balls."

That's the problem with democrats, and maybe liberals in general. They see the people who represent us as our leaders. They get everything exactly backwards. Politicians are our employees. Servants, not leaders.
Our current servant in chief is golfing. That doesn't seem right.
