Fedex Scrappy attitude: (Too scared to vote in a Union because of Fred and their bosses)..

"What we got here is a failure to communicate"..."Yes sire boss"

You should of been there at the "97" picket lines if you really want to know what "Scrappy Attitude" really looks like..

I saw the pilots and several other employees of other companies walking with us but I never saw a single Fedex employee among them...understandable considering they would be singled out by Fred and fired at will...I imagine that Meat was too busy freaking out about the increased volume and just did not have the time or he did not have the "Balls."
It was a second peak, we were too busy making bank and taking your customers.

Yep, fed ex workers are so much more meritorious and obviously the intellectual superiors to their counterparts at UPS that they will do the same job for way less compensation. Great point. I would have never thought about it that way. :groooansmileyf:

Even with all that cheap labor, FedEx still can't figure out how to outperform UPS in profits.
Everyday I’m thankful I started at Ground and not UPS. My scrappy attitude now means I do far less work than a UPS driver for a heck of a lot more money. To each their own though, if I was a lazy bum I’d probably be happier as a Teamster grunt that stayed in a dead end entry level job.

"A dead end entry level job" that pay 40 dollars an hour...

"I do far less work than a UPS driver" At least you got that right!

By the way I would not brag about "ground".."Express" still thinks you guys are second class citizens...

It’s still a dead end entry level job. Express guys are entitled whiners that get mad at delivering anything more than an envelope.

I will say Fed X has some poorly trained drivers. The gal that used to deliver on my UPS route would back into driveways in order to deliver an envelope. Where I live now, I watched a guy park in the only spot in a parking lot where he could possibly get hit. Guess what? He got hit and acted all mad at the old lady that backed into him.

Hmmm.... You are less lazy than a Teamster grunt, but you are thankful to be doing far less work for more money? Like I've said a hundred times before, it must be difficult holding such contradictory beliefs at the same time.

I'm sure you're also grateful for all those lazy bums you employ who are willing to be as lazy as Teamster grunts (who do far more work than you) for far less money. Without them, you wouldn't be able to be scrappy and energetic enough to do far less work.

I went the desk jockey corporate route for a while. It was less work, but it almost killed me because I couldn't get the physical activity in I needed to stay healthy. Plus, I make more money driving than I would have if I made it into a VP Position at my last job.

Our current servant in chief is golfing. That doesn't seem right.

I assume you were making a play on the title Commander in Chief. That's where a lot of liberals get confused. That means he is in charge of the military, not the citizens. I know that can be really difficult to comprehend, feel free to ask if you need further explanation.

Speaking of the military, Defense Secretary Mark Esper has proposed slashing military health care by $2.2 billion during a nationwide pandemic. That's nice.

I worked hard so I can now be basically semi-retired. My drivers aren’t paid by the hour so they have no reason to slack like a teamster. It’s sad you couldn’t figure out how to exercise without being forced by your job.

It was sad that my employer expected so much of my time that I couldn't get to the gym. That's one of many reasons I quit. Ah, yes, piece meal payment. I'm sure you are so generous as to set it at a level that any of your guys could make as much per hour as a UPS driver, if only they drove over lawns, through red lights, and worked at a pace that is likely to permanently injury them. That's why you get to be semi-retired.

He criticized Obama for golfing far less.

If it's not your president, he's wrong for being fiscally responsible because it "hurts" people, and he's wrong for helping people because it's fiscally irresponsible. No one really cares about your deranged views on Trump. People like you are why he will win this year.

You actually referenced trump and fiscal responsibility. Now that's funny.
