In my 18 years at UPS, the Monday after Thanksgiving has always been when the flood gates open up to the holiday volume. While I do think it will be the worst ever in terms of working late and dealing with the new PAS system etc....
We need to remember this. A lot of people will be relying on us to be Santa's helpers, in order to make Christmas something special for someone in their family. Yeah, I have a lot of problems with the way UPS is run, but for now, I choose to remember that this is the season for celebrating my savior being born. And to those who aren't Christians, its still a season of family and friends. So lets enjoy this month as much as possible as we do our thing. Let the men and women in brown kick some booty! Merry Christmas!!

Speed, also in my 18th year and looking forward to our first peak on the PAS system. Gonna be ugly. Started out asking for drivers to be on call today. Good way to get the morale up!

figure its better than having her stress over my days, for two weeks.
she'd be bored piss, waiting for me all night.
