I like parents better who love their boys for the feminine and gay, but don’t just instantly hop into they are trans!! Hoooray!! For social media points. I’ve talked to transsexuals about their lives and what it was like as a kid. They were a :censored:ing mess, like me being gay. I’ve never wanted to be a woman, gay and trans are completely different in childhood but with some key similarities. “learnt masculinity as a mask, no skipping, less hand movements, take up space and a thousand more, It wasn't perfect, but I still had an ok childhood but that might have been because of the walls I had built around myself to stop anyone finding or I did not fit.” https://www.quora.com/When-did-you-find-out-you-were-trans Like this is a one of the similarities. “Well I now thank God that super glue was not around because I, on a number of occasions, glued up the end of my penis to force the urine out ‘in the right place'!! That's child thinking for you. I used to make up stories about me urinating suddenly being put right down there and the sense of peace I would feel when it was right, yet I still did not know what that meant. I had no concept of the difference between men and women but I knew something was wrong.” I started making up stories every night about becoming a girl in thousands and thousands of variations of ways, every night to get to sleep. The clincher came when I played a trick on my sister when she was in the shower, she being a few years older than me. I whipped back the curtain to make her shreek but instead i was bowled over by the differences in our bodies. It was so unfair, i realised that there was more to why I felt wrong than just what I thought. I was not the right shape all over. That's when I knew I was in the wrong body.” This type of behavior I never experienced, this seems like a uniquely transsexual thing. I definitely believe Maher is wrong on this, which you don’t even have his full opinion on lgbt, he doesn’t share a right wing Christian one.. I think there are children who will definitely turn out transsexual no matter what you do. They will turn out transsexual and have their early lives to find a good circle of people to love and accept that part of them or they will grow up all sorts of :censored:ed up on top of still being trans.
