    Man arrested after leading Jackson Township police on chase in stolen UPS truck - News 5 Cleveland

    An Akron man was arrested after he crashed a stolen UPS truck in Jackson Township Monday night, according to a news release from Jackson Township police.

    Shortly after 8 p.m., officers attempted to stop the stolen UPS truck in the area of Portage Street Northwest and Frank Avenue. The driver, identified as Travis Leanthony Lanier, continued west on Portage Street.

    Police initiated a short pursuit before it ended in the area of Portage Street and State Route 241, where Lanier allegedly crashed the UPS truck.

    What a dummy! You gotta be an experienced UPS driver to make a brown truck fast enough to elude the cops! Lol just kidding. What makes people think that big brown conspicuous truck is a good getaway vehicle???
