Go away scab
Make me.
I already told you how to find me.
Please come down and show me how "strong" you are one on one.
OOP'S, you can't stand alone, without a crowd/union behind you.
Copperhead road is always open for visitors.
Leaving may be another story.
I wish peace and goodwill to all that come in peace.
Not my problem that the union pension/insurance is the core of your retirement.
Some people plan 30yrs ahead for retirement.
Saved, invested and educated themselves, for the best options and costs that will confront them in retirement.
Depending on a pension and Social Security to pay for your future years is a hope, not a certainty.
So, come see me.

Retired 22 years
Got the Medicare Gap Filler letter from the local today.
$225 per month. Times 2 for the wife. $450 per month
Probably A&B Medicare is going to be $150 each or more.
Looking at least $750 a month for medical insurance and the added bonus of no dental or vision.
The good life.....
Sounds like you got a good deal. We were paying almost $900 a month for just the wife for the 4 years between when I turned 65 until she got on Medicare.

He’s an inbred hillbilly
That's all you punks have are insults, not an intelligent response.
Inbred Hillbilly?
Wow, you really are mental.
Have a nice life in Yankee land.
Nice to know burrheadd speaks Yiddish, when he talks about my post.
The truth can be always told over and over, but Schmucks only hear the voices in their head.

Retired with 26 years on disability pension in 2016. Never took the part B when I was approved for SS Medicare. Stayed on the union plan because still had teenage kids. Got a letter in October this year saying I was being dropped because of some wording in the contract that part B eligible retirees can't stay on the union plan no matter the age. After a few more registered letters from the local they now say the trustees voted on the issue and I will keep my union plan until I turn 65 and not have to go on Medicare until then. I'm pretty sure I would have had to pay a penalty of 10% per year from the time I was Medicare eligible in 2016 until General enrollment opens up this coming January. Would have been a 60% hike in Medicare deductions for the rest of my life. The clock resets at age 65 so when I make the switch off my union plan and on to Medicare there will be no penalty. These are all things that I should have researched myself instead of just listening to the locals business agent and other people that did not know what they were talking about. The union did the right thing for the retired members and saved me alot of grief and money.

A few of us retired guys here on BC try to let people know who come here that the locals are really not up to the task of retirement issues for those retiring. To further that, the same people will tell you not to take what you read here on BC an absolute, as it may not be advice that applies directly to your specific retirement. You have to do your due diligence and make sure any retirement issue you have is researched and implemented BY YOU!
