My tree has been up (not decorated) like a big night light.
It looks so pretty & twinkly that I decided not to decorate the tree....just the skirt below and colorful presents (red mostly)
I saw a minimalist tree in the HGTV Magazine.......just twinkly lights. It looked great. Of course hubby is encouraging this new way because he doesn't have to take down the ornaments from the garage storage.
Similar, but with colorful gifts...
