Thats all you need to read? Let's try reading a little harder. 1) I said "DEPENDING on the quality of your relationship with your mgmt team one COULD call back in a reasonable amount of time" That means if you have a decent group then return that decency by calling back in a reasonable amount of time. OR if you work for a bunch of pricks then obviously you will reciprocate appropriately. See how it's left open for either side? 2)I said "If you're scheduled off then stick to your guns and don't go in, but call. The reason I say this is if you burn the bridge then when you call to get a day off or another favor they might wait until the end of the day on you also." That means play whatever game you want calling back but don't be surprised when mgmt plays the same game when you call looking for whatever favor you want. Not "another favor" as you quoted. Not favors. Not favoratism. 3)I said "one trick is to have your spouse call back". You out got me there. I meant to say have your spouse answer the call. This was in response to the guys posting that they didn't want to speak to whomever mgmt was on the line. Guys don't want to answer the call? There's a way to get the msg yet remain untouchable. But, I did not say "have my spouse call in" as you stated. As far as the " I've been drinking" remarks, as I said I've see it three times bite someone when the wrong member of management wants to play. Did they get fired? No. But they were marched off to the clinic for tests, got to sit and talk to HR, and all other kinds of fun things till mgmt made sure they weren't sending someone under the influence out on the road. Can't be too safe when someone is making claims every time you talk to them on the phone now can you? Did that explain it a little better or do you still want to try and impress us by how far you can pee?
