P-man, the way Smart Pickups actually work is the pickup is in the pickup log daily but has a ? next to it. If the shipper has not processed a pkg by a cut off time, which is 1400 for the 2 SM pickups I have, then I receive an ODS telling me that the pickup is cancelled for the day and I don't have to stop. The pickup is then removed from the list. This doesn't really save me a lot of time as I drive by both of these P/U stops daily but I can see where it could be a huge timesaver if this were a country run. I still think that the bid driver is the key to ensuring these Monday only pickups are taken care of when Monday is a holiday.
