Nope. Keep your mouth shut. Steward should do the talking. You don't want to say something the video refutes. I don't recall is a good answer. You can later remember better if the video comes into play. Go over your objections above with the steward so he can argue for you. Realize this is a game. They just want to intimidate you into running. I doubt the 10 second stuff will even come up. If it does and your steward doesn't answer for you, you just say I will try to be as efficient as I can. The union doesn't recognize the production numbers. But 10 seconds is a lot of time. If you are truely being lazy they will eventually nail you with something that will stick...everyone messes up, you have to give a fair day's work. Asking the supervisor about his location and how could he see you is just to give the steward ammo...you don't need to prove anything, just plant the seeds of doubt so they know you won't be a pushover for a warning letter. They won't discipline you for being slow. It is all about intimidation. They may have a letter ready for you for not following methods...Unnecessary back or not utilizing the horn. Grieve the discipline using the doubt caused by the supervisor being so far away. Grieve every single warning letter. Even if you mess up discipline is not automatic and should be fought.
