The problem is that making a 100 grand a year (single income) would qualify you to lower middle class standards, and in some areas close to their poverty levels.

Another myth is that UPS is contributing over 25,000 dollars a year into everyone's pension plans.

The company has been advertising for Casual Package Deliver Driver.
They have 8 openings under seasonal jobs. Probably off-the-street scabs, on an on call basis.

Uh no, its how the company fills in for vacation and other unknowns like driver call offs or extra loads. On call is just a pool of drivers with no set scheduled run. Mainly feeders.

We call vacation temps "casuals". Haven't seen any this year with the layoffs and such.
