Granted every center is different as far as when they put temp or seasonal drivers on and the duration is different also. Where im at its June 1st to Dec 31st. They could probably make between 40 k and say 60k between working part time and temp driving for the year. Not a bad gig at all. Great part about that is you only work the seasonal time and still have a life the rest of the time as you work part time. Another thing is you probably not going to be driving when its super cold out and snowing a lot. That's the worst time in my opinion to drive. Depending on where your at with the weather obviously. I probably would do that if I had to do it all again and had the foresight that this job was going to start being this bad nowadays. Great gig, something to think about.
I tell a lot of these young boys, one of the best gigs going, if your not sure you want to go fulltime is to just do temp driving and not go fulltime. If the part timer has been with the company for a good amount of time, they are probably making decent money. You do this you get the best of both worlds. You make decent coin part of the year and the other part of the year, you can have a life. Its a win win.
