Deliberately blocking traffic (especially freeway) as a form of protest is profoundly dangerous, stupid, selfish, petty, and arrogant. That form of protest should remain the province of the cretins who have lately personified those traits.

Also, it entangles and traps people who have no grudge or opinion towards one side or the other.

I have a difficult time imagining any neutral or moderate person caught up in a deliberate traffic snarl having any sympathy for the cause of such a thing.

That notion never crossed my mind. This would only work with things that aren't particularly perishable. Fights would break out over a frozen Hot-Pocket. The results in cities would be disastrous. And nature abhors a vacuum. Surely there would be alot of suppliers/distributors who would cheerfully fill it.

And consider the infinite possibilities of lost accounts, consequences, retaliation, litigation...
