Just saw the President participate in the pledge of allegiance to the flag and he actually said "one nation under God".
What say you?
"What say you?" Who talks like that, anyway? Is it generational? East or West coast? I've heard BillO say it, but not many others.
O'Reilly

Maybe they had Betsy Ross plant little flags in their front lawns.......you know, Ross's Realty?I'm just upset knowing that the unpatriotic founding fathers never said a pledge of allegiance or sang a national anthem. Even worse was the fact they found no need for either one. How in the world did they ever show everyone what good Americans they were?
But then I guess they didn't just sit and look at the cave wall so there you go!
What say you?
Most people I know just want to say, "I love my country" and don't need to put any name on it !!If the pledge of allegiance was authored by a socialist and a socialist President sez the pledge, does this make all who say the pledge socialists too?

I've always thought it would be more meaningful if elected officials pledged allegiance to the constitution and the bill of rights rather than the flag.
Like religion hangs on your faith.......you have it or you don't.
Love of our country is a swell of pride that is felt and can't be explained. It's hearing children sing America the Beautiful and tearing up. It's feeling your heart flutter listening to Lee Greenwood's song and You either have it or you don't.
