Looking for thoughts or advice from anyone out there. I was hired back in June, did the 3 day online training then sent to 2 day face-to-face. Passed the driving test, 5's and 10's, ect.. Following Tuesday I started at my local center. Had On Road Supt with me first few days. No problems, seemed to be going really smooth. On my way to work for what would have been my first day on car alone, I was in a car accident, which was no fault of my own. 5 months later I was released to go back to work by the doctor. Had been talking to bosses during my absence, very supportive. When I was finally able to return, it hit peak season. So now instead of in qualifying or my status as being a full time driver, I'm a seasonal driver. Been working 6 weeks 40+ hour weeks. No talk from union, no benefits, but on upsers it has my seniority date and everything back in June. Have been running a rural route and always under RBT. Any thoughts or suggestions on if I will be back on track after peak to finish qualifying, or can peak hours count towards my 30? For now I'm just keeping my head down, doing what I'm told, working as much as I can. No one has said a word about anything I've down wrong or suggestions on how to improve. My 1st day back I had an on road Supt ride with me, he was going to for a few days. 2nd day he called me and said I'm in my own, he could tell I could handle it im assuming? For the union, I do pay for the 401k but notice union dues not coming out of my check, although on upsers it says I'm current/good. No idea if I'm actually in the union or not. Kinda feel like I'm slipping through multiple cracks until someone catches on.. Thoughts?
