Hi everyone, I applied for "Seasonal Full Time Package Delivery Driver," but when I logged into upsjobs.com the next day the position says "Casual Package Driver." -First question, is this a step up from seasonal? What does it mean? I had a phone interview with HR last Wednesday 9/9 and it ended with the HR person offering me the position, saying they need to do a background check, then someone from the hub will call me and schedule a road test, then I will need to do a DOT physical and online training and in person training as Integrad is closed due to COVID, etc. -Second question, I authorized my background to be run 10 days ago and haven't heard anything back. Is this normal these days? Anyone on here going through the hiring process and can say if they're in the same boat or different? I've got a job currently that requires two weeks notice or I will forfeit my PTO, which has accumulated to about 88 hours right now... that's a full two week check cash-out I don't want to lose, so I'm trying to plan accordingly. Any advice or updates on new hires is appreciated. I've attached screenshots of my status if anyone can decipher anything from it.
