No. No it’s not. Who watches football for politics? It’s a game. Carry or throw ball from point A to point B.
muhammad ali is famous for it in part. he was right too. its like killing 2 birds with one stone. instead of just entertaining and inspiring ppl with sports, he probably encouraged the anti war movement and anti racism.

The difference between Muhammad Ali’s political stance and the athletes of today is he did all his protesting outside of the ring. When he got in the ring he was there to box.

o yea?

the way i look at it they are going from meaninglessness to meaningfulness. you can drive your car with nothing on your bumper, or you can have a message on it to spread ideas which hopefully turns into action.

ppl only have so much time (by design i would argue) so killing 2 birds with one stone seems smart.

sports are more political these days which is wonderful
Sports were one way people with differing opinions and backgrounds could put that aside and come together.

Marxists have targeted sports because they want people divided and angry at one another. Marxists are disgusting hateful people.

i dont see how your political stance would affect your performance on the court. they are 2 separate things except it means more when politics is involved.

even if u didnt have BLM at sports, it would still be political based on all the welfare stadiums get, or 3rd world working conditions clothing companies impose on their workers, or whatever. its the matrix, theres no avoiding it.

How does that make her post any less correct?
because his politics affected his career through no fault of his own. he was made an example of. it makes a mockery of your freedom of speech. they are just words on the paper, we all know there are limits.

That’s all blah, blah, blah. People want to escape their hum drum lives and all the goings on in the news into a football game or basketball game, and not have to concern themselves with politics for a few hours.
