This guy / family had donated his body to science. This is in NO WAY related to organ donation. Please don't let this story stop you from being an organ donor.

To each his own. When my son passed away his organ donation (it was his idea) saved 4 other people. We still are friends with the South Dakota farmer who got his heart 19 years ago. Thanks to my son a SD farmer has seen is kids marry and his grandkids grow up. The doctors at the Mayo Clinic had told him earlier that day that there wasn't anything they could do for him because he had one of the rarer blood types and finding a donor would be next to impossible. My son happened to have that blood type. He got the phone call on the way back to SD to turn around and get his butt back to the Mayo.
So someone else paid for it?
I went to a science museum in Dallas that has a human man who was sliced from the top down in about 1/16 increments and photographed at the same time. You can scroll down the process as fast as you want. Makes an interesting show.
Back in school, he was always the best at show and tell.
Except it wasn’t used for science. It was used for profit and for the morbid gratification of those who paid the $500.
