Ummmmm no. Plans are made ahead of time especially when you have a family or work two jobs. The first scenario was my wife would have canceled meeting on Friday or early monday because at that time I had to be at work 15min early. Now that it's 15 min later it was all for nothing and she now has been inconvenience twice by my work schedule. I don't know how your work is but my wife has meetings scheduled days out. The dog I usually take for a long walk before work. Then come home and get ready. His walk was cut short because I was under the impression that I would be starting at a certain time. Then I was informed that my start time has been changed to 15 minutes later. Well It takes time to put his harness back on and get him ready to take out. So I can't just walk back out the door with him. I informed my second job on Friday that I couldn't work past 1600 on monday because I had to be at work at 1630. My boss having already gotten the information would have scheduled another person to cover for me for that 15 minutes. He cant just tell the other employee. "Oh nevermind we dont need you anymore. You can go home because 542 now can work his normal shift." Point being people make plans and live different lives. UPS is already pretty hard to plan around as it is. Your scheduled start time is different everyday and your clock out time is different everyday. I don't think it's asking to much to have some form of reliability of your schedule.
