There was nothing mentioned at our PCM yesterday morning and I heard nothing about it until I got to one of my afternoon pickup stops. The owner thought he was being funny by saying that "I need to start being nicer to the UPS guys" in light of the tragedy. I calmly reminded him that there are three families who no longer have their husbands/fathers and that this type of tragedy is nothing to be made light of. Our PCM focused on eating healthy lunches. Our center manager asked two of our drivers to show us what they had packed in their lunch boxes. One of them pulled out healthy choices----fruit, sandwich, water, and a healthy snack----while the other pulled out a big bag of chips, 6 cans of Mtn Dew, beef jerky and a small can of Vienna sausages. I bring a ham sandwich, banana and 2 bottles of water, which is provided by the company during the summer. The sad part is that the Mtn Dew driver, who is doing everything wrong, will probably outlive us all.
