question about a transfer

hey everyone. i have 5 moths with ups as a part-time unloader in new stanton hub and was woundering if i quit and move to another state and appleyed there and got hired would i loose my 5 months of time. i know and understand i would loose my wage and senoirty and such. or would it be a wise choice to wait for my year and then go.

I believe you would lose your time if you quit and there is no guarantee that you would get hired. Probably best to wait if you can and then transfer but you should talk with someone in Human Resources first to get all the facts...
