question about ups founding fathers families

Can someone explain what happen to ups when the founding fathers died. Did their children become owners of the company. I know ups somehow paid members of the family to have total control at some point. Does anyone have any knowlrdge of this. There are some members of the family that still live in the seattle, and pacific nw areas.

Their kids were the first unloaders, preloaders, and sorters.

A great grand daughter of one of the founding fathers lives in our little town in norther Nevada. She and her husband both work and the husband did do some "post hole" work for me a few years ago. The have a beautiful home on 5 acres with a mini golf course on their property.
