I complained about it for years as a member of the safety committee. For my concerns and actions I was terminated. Easier to shoot the messenger than to address the root of the problem. There are reports to find out who is manually entering POD's but those reports are never run. Why get in the way of free labor and increased productivity=manager payouts. Following a courier during their lunch breaks would work also. But why find the truth if you are benefiting from it continuing. Our station employees go as far as having false barcode labels hidden on the walls of their trucks so we can sweep our drop boxes while on the unpaid breaks and have a way to scan them in later. I could go on and on about all the methods we use to cheat through our day. Management knows all about it and with their lack of concern and blind eyes, condones it. This is all to keep the harassment under control and the OLCC's and letters at bay. The current productivity goals are unobtainable without falsification for most. We all just want to go home at the end of the day and not trans-load and stay out all night.
