Alabama and Mississippi are two Republican strongholds. Republicans lead both states in pretty much every elected office that can be had. These states rate at the very bottom of education,wages,property values, and near the very top of illegitimate births, welfare recipients, crime ,incarcerations and drug use.

Dying, Jesus asks John to look after his mother and asks his mother to accept John as her son. John takes Mary home. John becomes unmistakably part of Jesus's family.
