Dill, at the time, I wanted NOTHING to do w/sleepers. Didn't have anything to prevent me, just didn't want it. WWWEEELLL...after a couple years of these low to NO senior drivers dropping down 6-figure W-2s, I said, "Why not?" This lady? Well, let me just relate this little incident before sleepers. She was driving back from seeing her daughter out of town in her little pickup. Icy. Slid off into median. Scared ****less! Gets out because of 4X4. Goes down the Interstate a few more miles and plays pinball with concrete-walled bridge. Destroys p/u this time. Now, wouldn't you think you'd learn from going into the median that MAYBE you should take it easy? When I did decide to sleep-run, didn't want somebody this flakey of a driver. Also, she was pretty anxiety-prone. Would fall apart at the drop of a hat. I ain't dissing this condition, just don't want to try to sleep with somebody like that behind wheel. My decision had nothing to do w/her being a female. I wanted somebody I could trust, as a driver and as a person. I found one. This guy I would trust with my, well, LIFE! And that's what it is too. \ To be truthful, yes, I did invision taking her with and getting down and dirty during delay times. BUT, I also did not want to do anything to jeopardize company standards, if there is such. Besides, mission was accomplished OFF the clock later, if you know what I mean.
