upsvette, so what did they say contributed to your heart attack?. sounds like heredity. And that you cannot change. Everyone blames it on lifestyle when so often it is not. Did you have bypass or were they able to treat it another way? I went to cardiac rehab with my husband, and participated a few times, and I was so proud of my self as I wasnt huffing and puffing, and THEN the teacher told me because of my physical shape from a strenuous job, I had to get my heart rate above and beyond the normal person. Said its people like us who croak when we leave our jobs, because we are conditioned at one point and do not go above. We need to do more, and really who wants to do more? we had a driver, never smoked, ran marathons fit and trim, retired and dropped dead a year later. whoda thunk. My sister died at 52, brother at 59, massives. She never touched a cigarette, or drank. I think it comes down to there is only so much you can do, and it wasn't your time. When your number is called, its over. Thanks for the uplifting post!:angry:Glad you are well.
